We provide preparation for 'Grammar Schools'. The components that we cover are Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Comprehension English and Mathematics. This forms the core areas that a child is assessed in for the 11+ examination. The weight of each component varies depending upon the changes that are made in the selective tests from year to year.
We have enjoyed excellent pass rates over the years.
The following skills are also addressed:
Speed training is given to ensure that the child is able to complete
the examination paper within time constraints.
Answer accuracy is addressed extensively throughout the course.
Substantial exposure to examination papers of similar type to the
'actual' 11+ Examination.
Confidence Building exercises undertaken to prepare the child to have
a positive attitude.
